  Looking forward to a lovely day in Puerto del a cruz!! After being dropped off at a place unknown to us we walked down to the beach followed coastal road and ended up near loro Parque.. asked where the lido, old town and hotels were only told that we were 45 mins out of our way, had a taxi costing 10 euros into centre of Puerto - by now we weren't enjoying the day as we didn't have a clue how to get back to where the bus dropped us off - I then telephoned the office for directions couldn't understand where they were sending so asked a kind lady in a jewellers to help with telephone conversation, off we went on another treck to bus stop, were told to get on bus 34 buses turned up no numbers we were told to get on bus up to loro Parque and change bus there??? Even the drivers up there were confused... WHAT A WASTE OF 50 Euros

  Hi, thanks for the excursion on 16.2. to Teide region. Even though we couldn't go by cable car (ice), the half day trip was very good! Our driver/guide Swatch, told about the island and took us along small roads and short cuts. Interesting.
